\pard\sa200\sl276\slmult1\b General things to know in order to properly and successfully generate your own soundboard:\b0\par
- Always make sure your sound files are in \b MP3\b0 format to ensure that they will play.\par
- To replace the default photo with one of your own, rename the photo you want as simply 'photo' and it should be in \b JPG\b0 format. Copy, paste, and overwrite the default pic. *This should be done before you generate the soundboard.\par
- Add more folders if you wish and name them accordingly to create new categories on your soundboard in the \b sounds\b0 folder.\par
- Be sure to delete the default sound files in the folders before you add your own or they'll be included with your phrases.\par
- To add a question mark to a phrase, type in a capital \b (Q) \b0 inside parenthesis after the phrase name.\par
- When your photo and sound files are added, you may \i generate your soundboard \i0 by clicking the \b sbmaker2.jar\b0 file. You may enter information about your soundboard; soundboard name, creator name, version number, your YouTube link (optional) when the generator opens. And you can also change the font settings and colors to your liking.\par
- When you've finished doing everything listed above, click on '\b Open SB folder\b0 ' on the bottom left. Locate and open the folder where you extracted the program, and choose 'Open'. \ul Do not open the sounds folder when you're generating.\par
\ulnone - Finally, select '\b Generate soundboard\b0 ' and it will open up in a browser. Test it out to make sure that it works. If you get a message asking to allow blocked content, click Yes. You may rename the folder containing all of your files to anything you want.\par
\b What else you should know after generating:\b0\par
* If your soundboard doesn't play any sounds when it's generated, it's possible that it doesn't work in that browser. This issue varies depending on the computer you're using. Google Chrome has had the most success rate with opening the index file, however, some users have reported that the soundboards also work in Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.\par
* Change your colors by typing in the color name. Try to use simple colors such as blue, black, red, and so on. If you want a special color, you can try typing it in. If it shows up as plain black after you generate, it wasn't recognized.\par
* Some special characters such as exclamation points, commas, and apostrophes can be used in quotes without being inside parenthesis.\par
*Do not delete anything in the Soundboard Maker 2 folder except for the sound files.\par
* If your soundboard is large, it may take a little while to load at first.\par
* You can adjust the category settings to make them fit properly in a window without having to scroll down. Multiple categories per column may result in this.\par
* If you want your categories to be in a certain order, just add numbers before the name (0 or 1 up to however many folders or just a few if you prefer).\par
* Have fun!\par
